So, What Is Diabetes?

Well, there are different types. Type 1, your body does not produce Insulin. Insulin is a hormone needed to get the glucose from the bloodstream into the cells of the body. With Insulin therapy and a healthy lifestyle, Type 1 diabetes is very manageable. Type 2 is more common. In this case, your body does produce Insulin, however, it doesn’t use it properly. With Type 2 Diabetes, the key to managing the disease is maintaining a healthy diet.
What are some of the symptoms, or how would I know if I have Diabetes?
Diabetes, Type 1 or 2, is not a Self Diagnosed issue, by any means. There are, however, some signs to be mindful of.
