Bond Sport Medicine participates in Coaches In Service

 

Lloyd Knudson, ATC; Dan Talbot, Polk County Schools Athletic Director and Paul Morin, MD, Orthopedic & Sports Medicine specialist.

Dr. Paul Morin, Sports Medicine Surgeon and Lloyd Knudson, Certified Athletic Trainer were honored to join with area sports professionals this morning to train over 120 Polk County School Coaches.  The morning was focused on injury prevention, assessment and treatment.  Lloyd provided hands on training on proper ankle wrapping and Dr. Morin sat on a panel to answer real life question from the professionals who are tasked with keeping our talented athletes safe.

“These are the type of events that Bond Clinic loves to do,” said Ashley Scanlan, Marketing Director for Bond Clinic.  “It goes beyond the exam room and allows us to give back to our community.”  Dr. Morin stated, “in my years as an Sports Medicine Surgeon I have never seen this many coaches and medical organizations coming together for one common goal”, he further said, “I am excited for Bond Clinic to find new ways to partner with these coaches more in the future.”
