Cosmetic Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy for Skin Rejuventation

Laser Therapy to remove damaged skin and wrinkles, whether caused by age, sun exposure, heredity, lifestyle, or acne, has become one of the most popular cosmetic procedures. Remarkable results are commonplace with the use of high-pulse lasers which selectively remove skin layers to reveal smoother, younger-looking skin. The procedure is quite effective for wrinkles around the mouth, eye, and the forehead, as well as facial scars from acne, chicken pox, or trauma.

Laser Photo Regeneration is a laser process that smoothes out the high points of wrinkles. In addition, new collagen forms which plumps out the wrinkles. The effect is smoother skin, as well as some generalized skin tightening.

Laser Therapy for Spider and Varicose Veins

Facial veins and spider veins are vascular disorders which cause red discoloration of the skin, These blood vessel changes are usually of no medical consequence, but are cosmetically unacceptable for many individuals. Unsightly leg veins, which are enlarged blood vessels caused by aging, pregnancy or oral contraceptives can also be removed with laser vein treatments.

These procedures, performed by a trained physician, cause little if any pain, are not performed with needles and cause little bruising or swelling. Once removed, veins seldom return. The number of treatment sessions depends on the size, location and depth of the veins.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal works by targeting the pigment inside the hair follicle without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin. The laser is pulsed about once per second across the surface of the skin which disables the hair even if it has not reached the surface or is not straight. Since follicles cycle through “dormant” and “active” stages which may require a series of three treatments. The number of sessions can vary for each individual.
